The session explored the future and global expansion of Japanese IP in the generative AI era. A new global standard was proposed: a shift from traditional “Fair Use” to “Fair Pay,” ensuring that rights holders are fairly compensated.
In response to the critical issue of unauthorized AI training, the need for a co-creation ecosystem built on license verification, monitoring and automated revenue distribution, and fair returns to rights holders was strongly emphasized.
The declaration presented by the newly established Japan IP. AI Co-Creation Association received broad support, marking an important step toward a future where IP and AI create new culture and industries together.

In a 45-day trial with Captain Tsubasa and the video-generation AI platform PixVerse, approximately 330,000 videos were generated, with a violation rate of just 0.14%, demonstrating a high level of safety. The session also introduced MiniMax H3 IP Edition.
